It's Spring! Finally :)

After this long and exhausting Winter, Spring seems to have finally arrived :) Even though it's still freeking
cold sometimes, we already had this warm and sunny days I've been waiting for all winter long ;D

Being outside and enjoying the Nature is so much fun, with a snatch of sunshine :)



I have a little Dog. She is a Chihuahua Girl and her name's Marley. Just like in the Book 'Marley and Me', which I loved so much :)

Wow, it's been a while...

Wow Cuties, it's been a while.

Sorry for disappearing from here guys. But it was just too much in the last weeks. Anyway, I'm back now :D

This weekend I was at a Thai New Year Party. It's called Songkran there :)

Or in Thail letters งานสงกรานต์ ;) We may have the year 2013 but in Thailand it's already 2556. Pretty awesome I think :)

I took a few pictures but unfortunately and of course, it's not as beautiful as in Thailand itself. Nevertheless I want to share some of them with you, just to give you an impression :)

Hey guys!
I'm on my way to vienna for a weekend trip with my best friend (not jassy, cause she was too busy doing uni-stuff... You know, I'm totally not busy, just writing the hardest exam of all times in a week... totally not busy ;D). I decided to make her reeeeeally jealous, cause the trip is going to be SO AWESOME!! we're going to a masked ball in the hofburg at vienna... with lots of hot guys dressed up ;) and masks... I mean... MASKS *-* yeah... I'm just a teenietiny bit excited... haha :D

Thai Bread Stuffing :D

Hi Sweeties :)

A few weeks ago I tried this  Thai Bread Stuffing -> สังขยาใบเตย
As I'm half Thai I ate it before in Thailand and kinda missed it here in Germany... Therefor I tried to make some on my own and now want to share it with you guys :) It's made with 'Pandan Leaves' (Wiki-Link)

You can get it in your local Asia Shop, just go and ask the staff if you can't find it ;)

Aaah and what can I tell you about this Bread Stuffing... I love it :D and its not even that hard ;)
Unfortunately I can't remember where I got the Recipe from as I found it a while ago... but its somewhere from bloggang.com
So here is the recipe aand of course I took a photograph of the outcome ;)

Ingredients:

You can get the Pandan Juice by blending the leave in a mixer. If it doesn't really work you can add some of the coconut milk just as I did. 

Once you have your stuff all there we can start :)

1. Firstly you have to filter the pandan juice until there is just the juice and no more leave pieces.

 It's okay if it isn't that accurate.

2. Leave your pandan juice for a while and take your eggs and the sugar. 

Beat them together until its frothy.

3. Now put your cooking pot on the stove and fill in your coconut milk. Warm it up a little and add the pandan juice, the flour and the egg-sugar mixture one by one. It's important that you always keep stiring it at a medium heat level. If you don't keep stiring it, the mixture will blob. 

Stir it until it has a creamy consistence.

It's supposed to be green because of the Pandan leaves but if yours isn't green and you'd like it to be just add some green fruit colour.

Nooow believe me or not, that's it :)

You can coat your bread with it or use it as a bread stuffing. I tried both and here is the outcome:

Green Smoothies :D

Hi Sweeties :D

Sorry I haven't blogged recently but I have most of my exams next week and a few presentations month. 
Buuut nevertheless I want to share a kind of 'magical drink' with you, that will get me through this time :D

I read a book written by Edzard Hüneke who is part of the german a capella band Wise Guys (check them out if you don't know them yet ;)). Its called 'Jetzt ist deine Zeit' and basically tells about his life and stuff. But he also writes about
Green Smoothies :D 

Green Smoothies are just normal Smoothies, but mixed with salad, spinach,... Sounds disgusting you think? Let me tell you they are delicious :D

I tried one with 250 g spinach
1 1/2 apples
a banana
and some blueberries. 

But you can add any fruit you like.
Blend the spinach first, add a little bit of water if it doesn't seem to work. It's a little hard in the beginning.
Then add the fruits :D


Here is my outcome: 

 

I loved them :D 
So maybe now you want to run in your kitchen and try some green smoothies ;D I won't keep you back by writing even more stuff ;)

Wohoooo

Today was just wonderful.

I slept until like 12 or something (well... I missed two classes... but I'm at University... No one cares ;D) had a yummy meal at subway (sadly without Jassy who had something more important to do... pfft...) And got back two  papers with an A (: This evening will be cool too, I'm going to a birthday party of a friend.
Only thing not-so-cool: I have to get up at 7:30 tomorrow... on a SATURDAY!! But I think I'll survive that ;)


Oh and heres some other good news:

At home with friends

Hello world (:
Friedi is at home this weekend! That meant loads of fun and meeting friends... and baking cupcakes *-* (pink lemonade and chocolicious...)  even though I'm sick at the moment and I need to take dozends of pills every day, I still had a wonderful weekend. I attended the birthday party of a friend I hadn't seen in a while and we all had loads of fun playing stupid games and eating my (might I add absolutely delicious) cupcakes. Today, after a wonderful breakfast at my friends, I got home and my friend since kindergarten times came visit me for some funny afternoon with playing air guitar and talking about random stuff ;) she's the best!! I really really enjoyed my weekend off especially after the stressed university week. Tomorrow morning will be really hard cause I got to take the train at 7:30to get to the university in time... but this evening was so worth it.

Wuhuuuuu People, It's 2013!!!! :D

We survived 2012 even though the Mayas told us that we won't... aren't we fantastique? ;)

Well, 2012 was... everything. It was amazing, funny, loud, horrible, confusing, sad...

Friedi and me, we finished school, had a new start at university. Met new people, had to say goodbye to good friends.
Some people say that 2012 was the best year of their life. I don't know if it was mine. But I know that there's an amazing year to come. It's right in front of me :)

It's still young. Fresh. New. Untouched :) All I have to do is to make the best of it. It's not easy. I know it won't be, but... at least I can try.

And that's what I want to wish you all: First A Happy New Year.

And Second: Try to make the best out of it even if its hard. You CAN do it :) I believe in you ;) Suround yourself with people you love and do things that will make both of you happy :)

WE decide how we feel today. We should decide to be happy ;)

And I hope I'll be able to be blogging more ;)

A new year, a new start.

So... 2012 ist vorbei, ein schönes, anstrengendes, ereignisreiches Jahr.

Sowohl Jassy als auch ich haben dieses Jahr unser ABI geschrieben und auch bestanden ;D Wir haben die letzte unserer Theateraufführungen gehabt (Linie 1),  Ich habe meinen 18. Geburtstag gefeiert diesen Sommer (endlich :D) und im Herbst haben wir beide angefangen zu studieren, beide in Karlsruhe und sind im Moment beide ein klitzekleines großes bisschen vom studium genervt^^.
Wir haben unseren Blog angefangen und schnell gemerkt, dass wir leider nicht so viel Zeit haben, wie wir dachten... Aber wir versuchen, das hier am Leben zu halten ;)

Was mich angeht hat 2013 mit einem sehr spannenden Silvester begonnen...
Bei mir fand eine kleine Party statt, Jassy war ebenfalls hier, es war ein wundervoller Abend, wir sahen alle extrem gut aus ;), haben unt toll unterhalten und haben um 0.00 Uhr sogar mit Champagner anstoßen können... Jedenfalls hat Jass exakt den richtigen Zeitpunkt getroffen um zu verschwinden, denn ab ca. 3:00 war es leider nicht mehr so schön, es gab einen Zwischenfall, bei dem einer der Partygäste ziemlich ausgetickt ist... Für mich als Gastgeberin war das sehr schlimm, da ich in diesem Moment nicht mehr wusste was ich tun soll. Zu meinem Glück hat ein Freund einen klaren Kopf bewahrt und vernünftigerweise die Polizei geholt, wodurch die Situation schnell wieder unter Kontrolle war...
Aber da dieser Freund auch mein Exfreund und meine erste große Liebe ist hat es mich aber ganz schön aufgeregt, dass er mich mal wieder "gerettet" hat (was schon öfter vorgekommen ist...) aber trotzdem war ich so froh... Naja ;D

Jedenfalls kann das Jahr wohl nur besser werden ;)
